I am back on track now and I am doing pretty good. I succeed in that because of my fatsecret fellow journeyman. First, I find it very encouraging to read how everyone else is doing. I don't feel alone in my quest for losing weight with it's ups and downs. I know I have support, even though from strangers. I would never get that support with friends and relatives. I've tried that but there's the factor of familiarity with friends and relatives making it harder to succeed. In their own way they would try to help but at the same time became my hindrance for success. They meant well and truly want to help me lose weight but they also didn't want me deprived of good eats and fun times. Of course, there were some too quick to judge saying I'm not trying hard enough. You have always got at least one of them around you. So when I'm around friends and family I remember that I'm on a journey with my new, stranger friends that they are not a part of.
I do still need to work on an exercise routine. I've never been much for exercising at all. I've been busy doing many different things but as far as timing a particular activity or recording an activity or getting on a scheduled routine just has been difficult. I've always been active for most of my life but not for routine exercises.
