Have you ever just had one of those days that you feel particularly self conscious? I'm having one of those today and I don't know why. I think part of it is that I ate too many sweets yesterday and I didn't get up for my workout this morning. I was feeling great over the weekend, I had tried on a pair of shorts that were way too tight about a month ago and now I could wear them, but they would be just a little snug. I also was out working in the garden in the fresh air and that was good to get some things accomplished that I've been putting off. So, I don't know why the bad self talk today, maybe once I get the workout done this evening I'll feel better.
No movement on the scale for a while, but that's okay because I know I need to change my eating and as long as it's not going up for now I'm happy. I have about a week and a half until my vacation, so I'd like to lose another pound before then to have a small buffer, but we'll see where I get. As long as I can get back into the routine after vacation...

You're doing so well. I hope the feeling of self-consciousness will go away before the day ends. From my vantage, you look terrific and you should feel very proud of your progress. Keep it up!

Everyone has those days. Just live through it and it'll get better tomorrow :) Good job on fitting into shorts!

You are doing great. I am sure after your workout you will feel better. It always helps me when I am having a bad day. I wouldn't worry about the scale either. The closer you get to your goal the slower it is going to come off. Also you exercise a lot- which is going to build muscle and make you leaner even if the scale isn't budging. This is why I love K8yk's recent post on her blog... http://thisisnotadiet-itsmylife.com/2012/05/05/why-i-need-to-know-my-weight/ If you scroll down a bit she has a pick of herself where her stomach is flatter 10lbs heavier than a previous pick...things have a way of shifting around. Anyway.... Your awesome! Keep up the good work and stay motivated.
