Monday Morning!

So I am trying to find a happy medium. I've been juicing on and off since May 1st and I'm super pleased with the results but I am ready to start EATING again. My initial goal with the juice fasting was to get back down to my pre-vacation weight. If you recall, I completely lost my mind when I went on vacation back in April and gained 36 pounds in less than 30 days. It was completely crazy! Well, I have lost all that (plus some) by juicing and I am happy with the results.

I have decided to continue the juice fasting with a goal of getting below 200 lbs before my next vacation (which is in 2 weeks). That's only 7 pounds and I know I can do it in the next two weeks BUT, I am having serious anxiety about going crazy on vacation again!

There has to be a happy medium to avoid this binging behavior. Last time, I remember it feeling like I could not control it, even after all the hard work I had done to lose this weight. I just lost it! It was soo hard to get back on track after that and I know the up and down is very unhealthy.

So... right now I am trying to prepare myself mentally for vacation. Is it supposed to be this hard, like really??? We are going to Vegas... SIN CITY where the BUFFET'S are a PLENTY! Lord help me... I just have to be strong and think about the other side. If I go off the deep end again... I will have hell to pay when I get back. I don't want to carry this anxiety and fear around, it really sours the sweetness of all the effort I have made to lose this 106 pounds so far.

I need a support group... lol. Seriously, it's difficult to balance it all. I want to be healthy but I also want to enjoy my life and not be held captive. Gotta figure this out because I am super excited about going on vacation. I don't want this to be about not overeating, I want it to be about enjoying the time away with my sweetheart. There's gotta be a way to "have my cake and eat it too"...well maybe just a little bit of it, lol.
