Well, ate some carbs I didn't need today, but Tomorrow Is the Beginning! KetOMAD on Monday, (One KETO meal a day), followed Tuesday by fasting, with one Bulletproof coffee, Wednesday is another KeOMAD day, Thursday fasting again. Friday will again be KeOMAD, then the weekend will be anything I want KETO. That will make me have one meal every 48 hours until Saturday. Hope this will wake up my weight loss. If there is no change, the game plan is to reverse the OMAD and fasting days, with 3 fasting and 2 OMAD. Things could get interesting. Oh, and NO soda! only coffee, tea and water is allowed.

Does this affect your emotions? Not a criticism at all, just wondering. I really struggle when I don't eat right. I can fast one day a week, but that is about it. I do think we need to shock our system once in a while to get things moving again.

Sure will be! the further you go down the rabbit hole when then you have to eat the majority of your intake will go straight to fat.

Crazy thing is when I weighed this morning I was down a pound! Murph, I hadn't thought of that. I'll keep that in mind. As far as fasting goes, 2 - 3 days is nothing. Might as well go ahead and say it - 2 - 3 WEEKS is nothing. I have only gotten hungry one time in the last 6 months. I think they did something when I had all that hernia (6) repair and ostomy reversal. The only thing that seems to effect my emotions is wheat, which I now will avoid like the plague - which it is to me.

Shea, I'm not saying this to sound like a wise ass, all I'm trying to say is this is naturally how our bodies survive when nourishment is reintroduced back into the body.You hear about it all the time, especially on this site.At least your trying,congratulations to you for that!

Talk about experimenting, l've been doing about 360grms of carbs daily and it's worked for me but now since my kidneys can only handle tops 80grms of protein daily it's thrown my fat burning off to the neg.so I'll going work on cutting my carb intake to 150grms daily and see if l can get my metabolic's started up again and stay with this lower carb set up but l have to find a way to keep my cal.count up, so that's the rub. This is hot off the press your first and anyone else to hear about this.

You gotta get the good fat - real butter, coconut oil, olive oil, heavy cream. That will help. Watch Dr. Jason Fung's video - He is a nephrologist from Canada who treats diabetic patients when they are on their last leg. Maybe there will be some suggestions to help you.
