Started a regime of natural supplements to balance these perimenopausal hormones. What a difference. Magnesium has reduced my chocolate cravings and monthly migraines.Evening primrose oil has helped with those pesky hot flashes and night sweats. Bloat is down. It is easier to stay on my diet. I don't want to go on HRT b/c my family has a history of estrogen based breast cancer. Just want to balance what I have. I try to eat a balanced portion controlled diet for now and the weight history reflects small improvement. I am going to see what happens. So far,so good. I feel better. I find that if I am overeating, it's because something is going on with me. It's either emotional, or my body is lacking a nutrient or two. I just have to take some time to figure it out.
