FRIDAY....AND 191!!!!

I had to record it...191...finally broke the 192 plateau! Hurrah! It can't be all the activity I did yesterday, 'cause I didn't! lol Regardless, I'll take it and record it. Oh, and it was at 7 pm too! I see being below 190 in my very near future! Whew!!

As I said I didn't do a lot yesterday, just not quite up to snuff. I feel like I am catching a cold, which is a definite possibility since so many people have them right now. So I took a day off, although I did go out and spray the veggies for insects with an organic spray. The bugs already found the beans...or perhaps a rabbit. I saw a big boy sitting in the grass, munching away, oblivious to the fact that there are 3 big dogs that would gladly make a snack of him. Cute little buggar, but he really needs to stay out of my garden or I will go Mr. McGregor on his little cotton tail! lol

We went down to mom's this afternoon, tilled up the area for her tomatoes, took her to the nursery and got some nice heirloom beefsteaks, and got them all planted and caged. I put in 7 for her and will take care of them when I go down to visit twice a week.

Other than that it has been another quiet day. It was really cool and windy today, so we just stayed in. The temp today only got to about 72, and the wind was at about 25 mph out of the north, so really chilly. At least the sun was shining!

Well, that's about all the news that's fit to print from my corner, hope all is well in your's!

TTFN!

Congrats! 180's here you come! And you are such a sweet daughter for taking time to plant and tend to mother's tomatoes. She can say it's her garden, but we all know it's unofficially your second garden ;)

Hi Stef, glad you got your mum's tomatoes planted. As for the rabbit munching away, does rabbit stew taste good with tomatoes? Much love Sazy.. xx

Whooooa.... 180's here you come :-). Those sneaky little bugs, appear when you have your back turned.... Yeah for sprays - I wish I didn't have to use them, but you wouldn't have anything edible otherwise - after all, we are not setting up a bug superstore LOL

Of course you had to record it - Go Stef - Go!!! BTW - I have a rabbit living in my garden and eating my beans too. I think after a while the furbabies just get used to them being there.

Congrats, the less you have to lose the harder it is and I love the way you hang in there and keep chipping away. Damn rabbits are so cute but such a pain in the garden.

Congratulations for breaking the plateau! That must feel really good. I hope you give yourself a congratulatory hug! Yeah!!!

Thanks, Milla! I will help her take care of it, but it will still be hers. ;)

Sazy, it made her so happy, I am glad I did it! As for rabbit stew and tomatoes, you better believe they go together! lol Hugs!

Oh, Pam, I sure hope they 180's are right around the corner! I am tired of the 190's!! lol As for the bugs, I was able to find an environmentally friendly type of spray. I prefer to use a little dish detergent and water to keep the bugs away. I just hope the bunnies don't find the plants...they can decimate a garden in a matter of hours if they do! Little stinkers! lol Hugs!

Thanks, Paula! I am ready for a new decade, I'll tell you what! Hugs!

Thanks, Buffy...I get a loss so rarely any more that I record it the minute it shows up! lol As for the bunny, my furbabies have not discovered the little guy yet or it's name would be "Dinner"! Around here there is no "getting used to", no matter how much I tell them to leave the little critters alone! Hugs!

Cathy, she was very happy, and that made me happy! She just wants to have some of what she has always had, and that includes a garden. Of course, they always had beans, onions, cabbages, cucumbers, and anything else dad fancied that particular year. lol Oh, how I miss him! :'/

Bren, thanks, sweet friend! I have been doing the same!!!! lol Love ya, sista!! Big hugs!!!

Thanks so much FOL. I still have 51 pounds to lose, just need to keep plugging along!! And yes, the bunnies are sooo cute, but hard to manage when you are gardening. I have one that is a pet that I have in a cage. He is a Havana Black and he is adorable.

Thanks, Britt...it does feel good indeed!

Absolutely you had to record it....how did I miss this? Congratulations and, like MillaLite, I believe the 180's are right there ahead of you! Just add this pound to the many others you've dropped since the beginning of the year. Great work!
