The biggest competition is myself. I am not looking to follow others or pull them down. I'm planning to test my own boundaries. Rain

68...631am..gooood tuesday mornin...was a challenge this morning to get outta bed..i was up an moving before alarm went off..but after doing 2 rides yesterday one inside on trainer..ohter one outside in the 22 mile an hour wind..well to say the least i was in a tired daze last night when i went to bed..an even though i slept 8 hours..i woke up tired still..but drug myself outta bed..an got on trainer an did another ride..

1:33:23 TIME OF RIDE
Speed 16.3mi/h 29.1mi/h
Cadence 87 101
Power 134W 356W
Calories 835

suppose to rain again today..just happened to get a break in rain..was 65..an even though the wind was bad..for feb..i couldnt help myself..wind is suppose to be just as strong today..so not sure i can talk myself into another day of fighting the wind ride..but never know..

well time to get up an make brunch..not even hungry yet..some days are like that after a workout/ride..but like to have it ready so that when the mood hits..can head to kitchen an grab brunch an get back outta kitchen so i dont pick any extra stuff up..as a fill in...

2 days of riding..3 rides ...60.6 miles..my goal for this week is 90..but i hit that last week..nicer days..mean more in the mood to ride the extra miles..

I rode my trek carbon yesterday in that 22 mile wind..an when there was a cross wind..felt like front tire wanted to go one way..an back tire another..zig zagging down the road is what it felt like

"The biggest competition is myself".. I agree 100% Mike ..I'm journaling all of my journey to feeling better... researching and trying to improve myself... Im learning about becoming disciplined. yes Mike, competing constantly with the old me..the easier way of life me... the unchallenged me... My plan is to reshape the new me..not just the body... but my mind...it is the largest hurtle for me... this mind of mine... competition with my mind and to change my way of thinking will be a huge challenge... but again, its my challenge and who knows me better than me...I got this... and if I don't I have the support of my friends on FS. Thank you my mentor..you get the ball a rolling and my mind to expand in thought to a better way of life for me.

Patty, Picture me with my first cup of coffee..relaxed out on the patio slowly getting my heart rate up.Then l come across Wannab's blog how he's racing up and down and all around through hill and dill dodging car's and peddling fast from charging dogs fighting the wind to keep up his speed..and all before breakfast do see what l mean. hahaha p.s. like I've said before he's a better man than me with that get up and go.

Sounds like a great set of rides! I’m out on my walk to the doctor to get the cushioning ground cartilage injected in my knee again. Sounds like the other knee gets it as well. LOL 🤷🏻‍♀️Can’t seem to walk even a mile without that knee complaining heavily so I look forward to the break. We have low temperatures with sleet and snow today so it’s a cold one! Stay warm!🙋🏻‍♀️

i know you was being nice murph.. i sometimes wear one of those blue ace knee elastic thingys from time to time if my legs are bothering me..not to often..but keep them on standby just when i need the extra support...

smprowett, l feel for you l went through the same aggravation with both hips and knees and all these shots,it got to pt.where it never gave me any relief, finally the VA changed them out and I'm restricted from running the 600 yard dash and l walk like John Wayne hahaha but aleast all that pain is gone.l feel your pain.
