Woke at 217.4, down 6.8 from yesterday. Very successful Fasting Friday although I started with a pretty high weight! Will have to continue to work this off over the weekend. Blood ketones were 1.3 millimolar, so in nutritional ketosis. UPDATE: Went and did our taxes today. Owe the feds 1000 but getting 800 back from Maryland so pretty much a wash. Had a good day of eating. Got my green veggies in and just did wine and cheese for dinner. The wine bumped the carbs up a bit but c'est la vie. Also weighed 217.4 before bed.

Crazy how much water weight you can pick up by eating out. I guess it is how the food is prepared and seasoned and the oils used? Just goes to show that home-cooked food is healthier ... but not near as fun. LOL!

I find that restaurants seriously oversalt their food to the point that often it tastes like you're licking a salt block. I always ask for no added salt, and for me the food tastes better. They already use so much salt in the sauces, marinades, etc.

Hi. I only drank black coffee and water on Friday through Saturday at noon. I am going to do this every Friday going forward to ensure I get in a good fast at least once a week.

@ Cynthia the restaurants use a great many prepared things as well which contain loads of salt because most are trying for consistency and price control. It’s the better brands that are lower salt unfortunately.🤷🏻‍♀️
