I had avacado plain, for the first time ever. I was going to eat the whole thing until I saw the carbs. Is there a place on FS to check out food before I am entering it? I have had so many wonderful things happen since I cut the carbs. I feel wonderful and have been more active. Unable to tolerate exercise, but I don't mind waiting for slow weight changes.

Sure in the food journal you can look up most anything. They also have restaurant menus listed! Good luck

The net carbs (total minus fiber) is what you should look at...avocado is so good for you that the carbs are worth it! Sometimes I’ll add foods and play around with different combos for the day until my macros look good!

You can delete a food item if you’ve entered it.

There is a tab labeled "foods" you can search by brand, category of name. It is super helpful in meal planning.

What I do is just enter it - I use Snacks, see what I want to see, then don't save it unlessI'm gonna eat it. Sometimes I save it so I can see what it's gonna do to my %. You can always delete if you decide you aren't going to eat it or change the amount if you're gonna eat only half.

that's what I do as well. Find out what it is before eating! You'd be surprised what has hidden carbs or calories, which ever plan you are following.

You can enter the food, then click on the entry to bring up the nutritional values. Hit "x" at upper left if you don't want to keep it.
