Life started sucky this am... sore throat, and TOM. Went to the doc, nothing serious, but always like to make sure it's nothing prior to embarking to Houston. Also, my immune system likes to shut down during TOM, so it's even more important for me to vitamin up. Doc's office has me 5 lbs higher than I clocked yesterday, so I'm leaving the weigh in as it stands from yesterday. No sense getting all bothered over water weight, and the nurse who weighed me said they had reported a 5 lb variance on their scale anyway, on the heavier side. NONETHELESS... I was still down almost 20 lbs since my last visit, so they were still marvelling and that helped with the TOM pity party. :) The nurse was asking me what I'd done, and I just told her... calorie counting, more whole foods, way less dairy, exercise, etc. And portion sizing. It's not rocket science, but sometimes this may be hard than that!! After a 56 lb overall loss, I have BEEN THERE. It IS hard. It's changing old habits and adopting better new ones. Taking charge of what you're taking into your bod, and willing yourself to make the better choices. it's not easy by any means unless this is how you are programmed as a kid. Hopefully, watching my changes will help program my girls for the better. Happy Hump Day, FS!!

56 pound loss overall!!! That's something to be proud of! Congratulations. I hate how my doctors scales are always different from my scales at home too...It always throws you off a bit

My doctor scale is always higher then what I see at home!! Congrats on the 56. What you say is so true about how it's all about changing old habits and adopting better new ones. It really is all about learning to eat better.
