I haven't really logged in for ages. I had been following Weight Watchers. However, I am having to give it up because of the new plan. It doesn't help if you are a compulsive overeater. There are no boundaries on some foods. So it is too easy to overeat them. I go and listen to everyone at the meetings talk about how they eat zero point foods most of the day and then splurge all of their points on a huge dinner or dessert. This is not healthy. Plus that is a lot of calories. The new plan has turkey breast, chicken breast, beans, eggs and many other things as zero points.

On the plus side, my endocrinologist told me that I am now a diet & exercise controlled diabetic. WOOHOO!! Major victory!!

In this picture, I am holding up a pair of pants that I was able to wear in Dec 2016. As you can see, I definitely can't wear them anymore. I still have a long way to go though.

Congratulations! What a success! I am also newly returned to fatsecret, a lot has changed!!! I am also a compulsive overeater and love the sweets. I hope we both reach our goals!

Congrats!!! My older sister was on weight watchers points program, and she kept talking about how she could eat all the soup she wanted, because it was zero points, and I didnt think that made sense because it was still calories in...it was too confusing. Welcome back, and good luck!!

Way to go gal. Keep it up. Eating a balanced diet is much better for you then eating fad diets (Water diet, weight watchers, protein diet, etc...). Also a nice trick to try. eat half a portion of a meal. Wait 1 hour. If you must, eat the 2nd half after 1 hour. You will be surprised what happens with that 1 hour delay.
