These last two weeks were a perfect storm. Here's what happened:
-Chocholate ice cream, cookie dough, and a costco-size bag of potato chips entered the house - 3 of my unstoppable foods - I started staying up very late (i.e. 2am) watching HIMYM and munching the whole time - Once my sleep schedule was off my whole eating schedule was also off - I started eating almost exclusively while watching TV - I stopped tracking my food - Mommy started doing her thing, adding great stress and the craving for things that would make my tastebuds happy RIGHT NOW and for TV to numb everything - I started working from home, making eating the primary time distinction/event in my day
So gaining 2.2 pounds in 2 weeks is not a surprise.
On the bright side, I started feeling so gross and physically terrible that in the last few days things have turned around:
- the trigger foods have been thrown out - I have resolved to 1) track my food and 2)Do nothing but eat while eating until I have remained at 125.0 for two weeks. This is because I notice in my weight history that I get close, loosen up, and never make it - I've started the spark people Spring into Shape 10-min a day program. -I'm working on getting my sleep schedule back on track
I still need to figure out how to add more to my day and thus minimize the significance of mealtime.
The only other trouble spot is that I notice that lately (this is a first for me) once I start eating, my rational brain sort of turns off and something else says "Mmmmmm goooooood keep eating until allll gone" - not till I'm full, or till the portion I set out for myself is gone, but till either a) it's all gone -ie doughnut or b) I feel so overfull and nasty I stop - i.e. ice cream, cookie dough. Not sure yet how to address this, but I'm guessing not reading/watching TV while eating will help.

Diet followed poorly.
