my nutritionist said always look at the inches, not the weight.

I know you can do it. 112 is not too high, and is still completely reversible. I've been on 130 fasting blood 5 months ago, and was in 4 tablets/day of meds. My peak is around 240 if I don't take a med and still eat tons of food. Until I changed my diet to more plant-based and lean meat plus strength training 3-4 times a week in the gym. I barely do cardio, usually a 10-minute on elliptical just to warm up and elevate my heart rate. Now my fasting blood went down to 85-95, and I've been out of meds for more than 2 months. I still eat carbs (250g) a day which may seem high but as long as the food has low GI/GL, slow digesting fiber rich carb, I know I should be ok. I was 185 lbs then went down to 143 lbs in 4 months :)

I think it is important to remember that blood sugar is directly tied to the pancreas. Yes the carbs you eat are a huge factor but sometimes our organs just don’t work correctly and are diseased. That may be your case although your numbers don’t seem that bad. Keep working at your fitness goals and eat right. If you have to stay on meds for blood sugar, at least you know they are minimal compared to what you would of have to take otherwise. Hope I dont sound like a Debbie Downer but I think it is important not to forget that sometimes the culprit is disease and not food intake

@newnbetter,I appreciate the advice !!! Yes I'm sure it is some kind of disease, seems like I pretty much have or had a little of everything, soon as one is under control, another pops up..And my Journey goes on and I'm DO N OK !!!

😊. I once read something like The journey to health is a long one that ends only in death. I actually liked it because it made me think. I want to be as healthy as I can be for as long as possible. But it will never be perfect

Have you evaluated protein intake? Excess protein can be converted into glucose...and if you're doing a "not so HF" LCHF diet, might be that you're macros are a bit off. Could be worth trying a tweak for a week or two.
