Mei is de warmste maand in Nederland. Ik ben er vrij zeker van dat dit waar is. Vandaag is de warmste dag van het jaar.

Ik had een klein incident vanavond dat te maken had met wat verse Hollandse aardbeien en chocolade truffels die smelten in de mei-hitte. Ik doopte in de kleine plastic zak aan een truffel te eten en vond niets anders dan gesmolten chocolade druipt van mijn vingers. Nou ja, natuurlijk dat gaf me een idee. Zoals ik smeerde de gesmolten chocolade over de aardbeien in een kom, mijn zoon zei, weet je, dat je de gehele doos van chocolade op eet.
