Last night I went crazy and ate TWO frozen dinners -- both pasta-based ("whole grain" but still). It was about soothing my very frazzled nerves and compared to what I would have eaten in the past this is not a huge deal. More of a learning experience with the lesson being to really make sure I've eaten enough breakfast because I just had a 6oz container of yogurt but no matter how sanely I tried to eat afternoon and early evening I couldn't shake the carb cravings. I'm trying to be compassionate with myself about this but it's been tough. And, today I'm highly irritable which I think is due to the simple carbs last night. I'm allowing myself generous portions of fruit today to help keep cravings under control but not deprive myself from all sugar.
