Ok. Up a pound again. Up down up down. I'm still sick, but the sore throat is gone. Feel stressed and lonely. Whenever I get sick, I feel like no one cares. Wish I could stay home and rest, but someone threw their back out on my second job, so I can't stay home. I followed the diet perfectly, but went over 20 carbs (probably around 25). I say this because it is hard to estimate what you are getting at restaurants or the schools dining hall. Yesterday in the dining hall I had "sloppy joe" meat on a salad not realizing there is probably hidden sugars. My fasting blood sugar was around 130. Maybe tomorrow will be better?
175.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 28.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hope you feel better. I hate working when I don't feel my best. I know how you feel. Hang in there. The good thing is you are making changes in your eating. I am working on this way of eating too. I went out last night with the family and ordered trout, salad, green beans. Still don't know what the damage could be because like you say there are probably hidden carbs. Don't forget to measure because the scale does that up down thing all the time, but clothes getting looser doesn't lie.
