Walked 3.3 miles both yesterday and today; doggies along for just 1.2 miles each day due to the heat. I think I'll need to move my walking earlier in the day so I can take the dogs a bit further....not really looking forward to getting up earlier, but it will probably be more comfortable for me, as well!

Yesterday both DH and I tackled the lawn. Then I grilled our meats for the week and finally enjoyed the plunge into the pool! I also went into the pool this AM after walking.

Last week, I had some peanut butter....probably too much of it. And THIS week, I'm in the aftermath....re-discovering just what a fine line I'm walking between weight loss and weight gain. I suspect the "gain" is really just water and/or the result of upsetting the weight loss chemistry in my body. I've managed to turn the ship and have had typical, minor losses these past couple days, so I'm hopeful I'll show a steady weight by the time I have to weigh in again.

Darn....'cuz I'd really like some more peanut butter! And it wasn't even the sugary kind either!

Well, the good news I can focus on is that the size 10 shorts arrived the other day and they fit great. I've used them the past couple days for walking, which is what I really needed them for.

LOL...PB...what IS it about that stuff anyway, but, oh boy do I ever hear you on that stuff, soooooo many calories it's hard to understand looking at a real serving & I think...HOW MANY you say WHAT? So, that's where that PB2 stuff comes in real handy, kind of like having your PB AND eating it too! I just had a giggle, thinking that since you want to get up earlier to avoid the heat...should I call you & get you up with me around 4:30? Plenty of time then to WAKE UP before you go walking....HAHA...just a thought! All fun aside, a huge CONGRATS on the size 10's...WOOOOHOOOO! Awesome, strut your stuff with a smile girl, you are an inspiration to me.

AAAACCCCKKKK...gee, no thanks....really.....no need to put yourself out....I can live without the phone call! LOL!! I DON'T do mornings very well.

Hope it doesn't get to the point where you have to choose between peanut butter and weight loss! But that is something you will have to figure out while you strut around in those size 10 shorts! Also - good to hear you are finally getting to use your pool.

Buffy....it pretty much IS either PB OR WL and not both - Darn! Just have to put PB aside for now. It would be more manageable it I could eat the PB and just have it push me off track a bit for a day, but it doesn't....not for me. It takes me 3-4 days of staying right on track after that, with absolutely NO deviation, in order for me to even begin the downward trek again. And that's just so frustrating and disheartening. If I can have a serious talk with myself (LOL!) I KNOW that I should just fight through the urge to eat PB (and other assorted trigger foods for me) so I don't get sidetracked yet again. But when I hit goal, I just might eat an entire jar and deal with the consequences at that point! LOL!

Hey Sandy...that PB can be a menace for sure..I have had to cut back too..and yahooo on the size 10's now you won't have to get those suspenders..I chose WL any time...:O)

Sandy, I am the same way with the PB, but I like Peter Pan brand and it has sugar in it. It is just soooo darned good! Hope you don't have to get up too early to walk. I can get up at about 7, but any earlier, and I am a bear to deal with! lol Have a great Wednesday!
