Yay gained two pounds! You can almost feel the sarcasm lol. It's not surprising after I let loose and partied with my friends over the weekend. I really needed to let the stress go. It was refreshing :) Now Its back to the grind. I'm shooting for more calories this week (1700/1800). I was getting a ton of headaches recently, may not have been eating enough. I also went back and read my past entries from last year when I actually did lose weight. I was eating tons of fruits, veggies, and whole grains. I had also spoke to my Aunt on Saturday who looked over what I was doing (shes the one who lost on WW). She said I definitely need to be making better choices and be eating at least 1600-1700 cals. I was eating way too much fat and processed foods. I will lose weight...I just need to do it the right way!

When you eat good food like raw fruits and veggies and minimally processed grains you accomplish three things. First your body has to work harder to digest the food so you actually burn more calories. Second, because of the fiber, you absorb fewer of those calories. And third, because you are eating real food instead of crap, you'll feel better and have more energy. It is a win - win situation.
