OK...So I have been very bad about recording my food even though I downloaded the program so that I could just do it on my phone. My back has been out and the doctor tells me it needs to be fused. I am trying physical therapy to see if I can strengthen it, but I know that if I lose weight it will help tremendously. Hard to lose weight when you can't even work out. I am going to do everything I can to NOT have to have my last vertabae fused! To get the inflammation in the disc down, I have been taking Aleve two times a day. It seems to be really working! I got on the treadmill yesterday morning for 20 minutes, which is more than I have done in the past three months. I am heading over to Wal Mart today to buy myself a Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board and I am very excited about that. I accidently set my alarm 45 minutes too late to get on the treadmill this morning, but I am feeling so good that I will probably start using that gym membership I purchased in November and couldn't use because of the whole "blown disc" thing! I promise to try harder to record my food, to work out more regularly, and to get that weight off! I want to be down by at least 30 pounds before the end of June...25 year class reunion. And I will leave this journal entry with that...................
183.0 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 53.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
