Today would have been a "perfect" food day if it weren't for all the salt. I hit all the other numbers right where I wanted. I was talking with a friend today. Her and her husband are on Weight Watchers (not that there's anything wrong with that - goodness I loved Seinfield). With the exception of french fries, everything that she said she missed while following WW are things that I eat almost every day. Higher fat foods. The types of foods that I have chosen to avoid are what she eats and wants to put the fats on. For example, when she has a baked potato she would really like to have butter and sour cream, a little bacon and maybe some melted cheddar cheese on it. I, on the other hand, don't eat potatoes. But I will make mashed cauliflower with butter and sour cream and top it with melted cheddar cheese and a bit of bacon. She is unsatisfied and not losing weight. Her husband loses & gains the same 10 lbs. It reminds me of exactly why I read Dr. Atkins' & Gary Straubs' books and just about everything about low carb I can find on the internet.
I am thankful for finding Atkins. I am not bashing on Weight Watchers. On of my best friends has lost 4 sizes on WW after the Atkins WOE didn't work for her at all. It is up to the individual to research, learn and decide for him/herself what works.

Exactly! Every single person is somewhat different than every other person, so how can one WOE be correct for every person? It can't. We have to find the WOE that works for us.
