Weight loss has been slow but long term is what counts. Although losing weight is great my underlying motivation has been to get off the diabetes meds. Since mid October 2017 when I finally got my head in line with my goals I was at an 11 on my A1C levels. I was taking pills and injections for my diabetes
As of yesterday my level has dropped to a 5 and I am off the insulin shots and the pills are being reduced also.
256.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 71.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 1.8 lb a week

That is awesome. My dh has been prediabetic for years but exercise has kept him from developing diabetes. He has a sweet tooth but his blood sugar is normal when he checks it as long as he exercises. Stay the course; you are doing great!
