TUESDAY, TUESDAY...

We had a great time with our friends yesterday. Didn't catch any keeper fish, but did have fun catching some small bass. This lake is just loaded with fish. You could walk along the bank and see them swimming, they were just too smart to be caught! LOL We also put out some snapping turtle lines, as they are eating the fish and baby ducks. If we catch any we will transport them to the river and let them go. Before fishing we had lunch with them and it was delicious. Not exactly low carb, but we enjoyed it. It was Mexican chicken, served on low carb taco shells, and of course, a zero carb margarita! MMMM....delish! However I ended the day with a very low calorie number. At the end of the day I was just too tired to worry about it, so I ate a serving of PB, which I still need to log.

I did get my walk in, so that made me happy. My neighbor gave me some organic, home grown bok choy...can't wait to eat that.

Today is going to be spent working in the veggie garden some more, so that we can get it planted on Friday. Going to get the little tiller out and see how much I can get done, lay the weed weave where the walking paths go, plant some more flowers, and of course, I intend to walk later.

Tomorrow I have to take mom to the doctor for her cardiology check-up. Then on Thursday, over to Illinois to the AFB to get her prescriptions filled and go to the commissary. Dan is going to stay at her house with the puppy, so he doesn't have to be kenneled all day long.

Well, that's about all the news that's fit to print from my corner of this big ol' world. Hope all is well in yours.

TTFN!

~Stef~!

Bren, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to fish...so does my sweet hubby. He is a bass enthusiast, and although he can't see, he does very well. He likes lure fishing. He caught a blue gill yesterday on a jitterbug! lol I was using minnows. I didn't get to the garden today, I cleaned house instead. I also didn't walk. I have an ingrown toenail that has gotten infected and I am soaking it in Epsom Salts solution as I type. Hubby has curtailed my activities for the rest of the evening. So, here I sit, with just 5,300 hundred steps for the day. lol...can't do what I can't do! Have a great evening...love ya, my sister/friend! Hugs!

Buffy, we did have a good time...I turned my cell to silent, took some lawn chairs, and sat by the lake for the afternoon, with no interruptions. It was a lovely couple of hours. Hope you find some Bok Choy...I love that stuff raw, just like celery...was wondering what it would taste like with peanut butter! lol Have a great evening!

Dar, yard therapy is the best kind of therapy there is! So let's garden together in spirit, by all means. I love it, and now I can do it right outside the front door...between the porch and the pool! How brilliant is that???? lol

Thanks, Heather. It was a nice way to spend the afternoon! Have a great evening, and hope you get caught up soon...hugs!

Sazy, if I have inspired anyone, it was not intentional, but thank you! I am on a mission...to get to my goal weight, no matter what or how long it takes! I may be on this mission for the rest of my life, but I feel so much better than I have in years, I don't care! lol Would love to see you and Pam join me. Pam already puts me to shame with her running, though. lol Have a great evening, my sweet friend! Oh, and the 19000 steps, was the day I did all the yard work...pushing that trimmer around 3 acres is quite a job! lol

Great work on the steps! Every step counts!!! Hope that infection clears up soon. And, then....I think a nice, pampering pedicure is in order, don't you think???!!! You've earned it with all this walking you're doing.
