Good luck! The first three days of ketosis sucks. At least for me.

Yeah they can, but as you begin to get energy and then not such a huge appetite and you begin to melt away the lbs you are thankful that you made it through the keto boot camp lol; )

I can't believe how full and satisfied I feel. I'm not obsessing over food, paging through recipes to get a fix, or starving to the point of being a really moody B-word. This is all too good to be true. I can't wait to melt pounds. (or Kilograms if that's your measurement preference)

KayseaLove, in the past, I used to pour bacon grease down the toilet. Now, I save it in a jar, put it in the fridge and use it throughout the week. Broccoli with 1 table spoon of melted bacon grease on it is "out of this world". So happy for you.

I'm on day 27 of Keto and feel amazing! Keep with it and you'll do great! I also can't believe my energy levels and mental clarity, literally better than ever, and I've dropped 14 pounds!

Keto or LowCarbHighFat is a WOE which is about convincing your body to use fat for energy instead of carbs by entering and sustaining a state of ketogenesis. You get there-with the help of several calculators - by eating very few carbohydrates (less than 5% of total calories, or about 20 g/day-and that means no sugar or starch) AND eating about 70% of you calories as fat-heavy whipping cream, butter, bacon, eggs. There are many iterations and way to do it, but that's it in a nutshell-which are allowed in limited amounts on keto! (wink).
