DW had a nice steak dinner waiting, complete with candied yams, and these really skinny spiced up green beans. Heck, I don't know what you call them; I only have to know how to eat them. It was all good. Been too long getting out and terrorizing the neighborhood on the bike, so when I got done giving some of the newly planted shrubs and trees a drink, I went for a ride.
It's an old school, pretty bare bones HD Sportster with straight pipes, and no turn signals or horn. It just makes noise and goes fast, and I just hang on for the trip. I was pelted by about 1000 bugs, and had so many plastered to my face, when I got back home, that I put hand lotion on my face because it looked and felt like sunburn. I kept my mouth closed, so I didn't have any in my teeth. :D
Did you hear? Erika rocked her race with a 26:11! Hey Ryan, I think she PR'd the sh$$ out of it!

DK, I would love to see a pic of your Sportster. Sounds like an terrific machine. The bugs sound pretty scary, though. Whatd'd you ride through .... a nest? Yes, Erika did amazing. So proud.

Bugs pelting the face doesn't sound like fun. Think I would have worn a helmet.... with a windshield wiper .... and washer fluid. HA HA!
