When my heart breaks I have a hard time taking care of myself. This recent devastation to my neighbors in Montecito has me so weak, helpless and broken. I have not been back to the WOE I would like to be at... but I will get there soon. I just can’t wrap my head around all the tragedy, loss and destruction that has been happening all around me. The mudslides pushed homes, cars, body and boulders miles from the mountains to the ocean... it’s absolutely a nightmare situation, most of these areas weren’t under mandatory evacuation orders. Please send your prayers to all the rescue workers and heroes out there and all the people affected!!! I can’t believe a man heard a baby crying in a neighbors house, and dug four feet in mud to save it, such miracles are happening... keep praying!

God be with all of you out there.Such tragedy and despair, try to take some good out of it all like the baby that was saved and the heroic deeds being accomplished by the many unamed people and the kindness shown by many. Be safe and for God's sake don't worry about the FS diet at this time.Come back to us when your life's back in order.lol E.

I was worried about you. Focus on what you can do for others which is offer shelter and comfort to those around you. Maybe make a casserole dish and take it to a shelter or to where the first responders are. Turn off the TV news, they'll rehash it relentlessly and it does you no good emotionally.
