Hi FS Buddies - I think I am able to get my act together finally. The 1 year anniversary of my Mother's death is Feb 20. It threw our whole family into chaos, which is normal, and we are slowly accepting her absence in our lives.

Last year, the last few months, I was not being consistent with my workout. For the new year, so far so good! I do weight lifting/aerobic 3x per week. I need a shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff but I couldn't get it because I gained too much weight and my blood sugar was out of control. I am quite limited on the types of weight lifting I can do with a bad arm but we work around it.

The other thing I want to add back is my fasting. I will start off with 5:2 and increase it from there. I do fasting for the purpose of helping my blood sugar (A1C) level go down.

I also want to try to cook something out of some of the recipes on here at least once per week. I have a tendency to just eat the same food every day and it gets boring. I was looking at the pictures on here and reading the posts of some of you that really cook some nice keto food! I gotta get on that bandwagon!

Well, nice to be back. My trainer tried to talk me into myfitnesspal but I like it here so I said sorry, no can do!
