No thrilled with progress. I've been on Atkins inductio for a full week and haven't lost a lb. Following it to the letter. :-( And exercising my butt off (figuratively unfortunately).
Can't shake the fluid retention.

If you like herbal teas, buy one with roasted chicory in it. It will act as a very mild diuretic and help get that fluid off.

No problem. I have issues with fluid retention and that has helped me. Besides it being good for you.

Cut your RDI to 1600 Kcals; if you go over make sure it is in fats. Keep your carbs at 20 or below and make sure to get no more than 3-4oz (28g per meal) in your meat servings or 12oz (84g) protein per day. Considering many of the other foods you eat also have protein in them try to limit your total protein to 84g per day. Aim for 75%fat/20%protien/5%carbs. Praying for your success!

Also, if your body is not used to all the exercise, your muscles can retain water. So you may just be retaining water from that. It's temporary and will go away when your muscles get used to the exercise.
