really having a problem trying to do what my dietitian wants me to do she told my I must have 90-110 carbs per day and 90-100 protein per day I find it hard to eat enough most times to make that amount per day I see her again on the 9th of Jan. and really don't want to get chewed out again. anyone have any suggestions how I can do both and not feel like I just ate a ton of food. She ?ed if I get tired when eating less carbs I said no I find I get tired when I eat the less I eat the better I feel the more I eat to bring up the carbs the more tired and nasty I feel. any help would be grateful

Do u under eat? Protein shakes are a quick fix (personally I love meat so I don’t use shakes) and carbs fruits 🍎 are a quick fix for that

If you over eat than I don’t know what to say, yes it’s extremely difficult. I struggle with (anxiety) wanting to eat more everyday 😭 but I try my hardest to not over eat cause I love the way I look and feel now In days 😍 It’s simple, what do you really really really want ?

Your feeling as positioned above without benefit of viewing your food diary indicates a switch in carbs to things with greater nutrient density versus nutrient lacking. Think spinach over Skittles. Think complex over simple carbs. Ask your dietician for ideas on complex versus simple carb foods as a starting point. Protein, at least for most people, will provide a feeling of satiation depending on amount and frequency. Combining your goalposts above in terms of calories for both carbs and protein it looks like 750-900 calories for both carbs and protein combined and certainly attainable. What amount of fat, either in grams or calories, is your dietician recommending? Ask them for assistance and guidance with the goals they set for you. Hopefully you find this advice useful and effective. Continue on your journey and best of luck.

ty u each and every one of u I dont over eat just not hungry and I try to eat more protein vs carbs but get really full fast. I some days just look at food and go ewe don't really want to eat. but I eat to keep on track I keep a food journal and often my total carb intake is between 6o and 70 per day sometimes less then I feel better but she want me to eat 90-110 per day and right now the scale is not nice to me and stays pretty much in the same place. I have 19# to my goal and don't want to go into maintenance yet. I have come to far to not lose the rest. when I see her it will be a full month. My body is strange everything that works for most mine goes the other way. I am getting down not seeing the scale improved but trying to keep a stiff upper lip and keep on going I have struggled all my life with food and losing weight. I am a stress eater and the stress never ends in my life only eases up at times. So when I don't want to eat to me is a good things I have over come most of the must have food. On stressful days I find things to keep my mind busy and if I feel I need something eat a pickle or a couple pork rinds. I will not stop the fight. I have a mind set and will get there. I will be 64 yrs. old in a couple months and really want to meet that goal. ty again

Carbs are comfort food, comfort foods as we know them are bad for you unless eaten in moderation 20 grams of carbs a day is plenty when losing weight. Are you logging your food? It is crucial to preplan every meal, and log everything you eat. Clean your pantry get rid of temptation, it depends on how bad you want this as to how you will progress. Did you dietician write down your orders for meal planning? Your in control not anyone else! Good luck in your journey!
