Gigi39's Journal, 05 May 2012

Busy day, now my back hurts, but what's new? I got a lot (for me) done outside. Tonight is a concert at church (I declined to participate as I lead worship tomorrow). We'll have Mexican food prepared by one of our own, a chef, because of Cinco de Mayo, but I won't eat there. Dinner is at 5 the concert starts at 6. The proceed will go to "Bridge of Hope", an arm of Gospel for Asia, and also to our youth ministry which is off to a good start. Jim will be sharing a video and speak a bit. Sounds as though we'll have a good turn out. I'll be running along, taking care of some last minute keyboard checks and then get going.

My back hurts too, Gigi...I raked our yard and then mowed, cleaned house and did laundry...too much but our days seem to be rather hectic and we have to do what we can when we have time. Bruce is watering the yard tonight...sometimes it is just insane. Hope your back feels better in the morning...mine will, I know. Got my zero carb bread is different but actually not too bad. I had toast this morning and understand why you said to really toast it....and then for lunch, I had two slices toasted with a slice of cheese...not bad at all. Think this may be all right. Thanks for turning me onto it. Hope your worship goes well tomorrow. Hugs.

Thanks Bren, @Gwen, you work so hard, hope your Sunday will be a time for some relaxing. I am glad that you like the bread. I came home tonight (Jim is still there helping to clean up), and was I ever HUNGRY! I had a fried egg between 2 slices of Zero bread with Mayo. that was not bad either, hit the spot. Tonight they had some chicken fajita fixings, I just ate a little of that without the tortilla, just didn't eat enough. I might just dig a carb smart ice-cream on a stick out of the garage...... Have a good Sunday my friends<><
