So i've been seriously trying to lose weight for about 5 weeks now because i dont want to be this "big" anymore, especially after being told by personal trainer to my face that i am fat at a free personal training session. I work out 3-4 times a week. I go to 1.5 hour dance classat 2nights a week.Im eating fewer processed foods more veggiesfuel but ita is harda to eat more veggiesfuel because myi husband HATES veggies.stole and had lost all of 5 lbs, got on the scale for my weekly weigh in this morning and um right back to square one. It makes me want to cry. It's not fair. Im trying so hard and i thought i was doing really good but im back to the same weight i was 5 weeks ago when i started. Why do i even try. Can i just go ahead and cry now?

Don't get discouraged. We all feel that way some time. The only way to win this battle is to be persistent for a long time. I lost 22 lb in half a year, but I still felt a lot of frustration, as it was not going the way I wanted, and I stalled many times and regained some weight several times. Still it works if you are persistent. My husband does not eat same food as I do either. We plan the meals in such a way that we can share some items, like chicken or steak and have different sides. He would have rice and potatoes and I a will have some veggies. Good luck and hope your next week will be better.

You have to do this for yourself and no one else. It's about being healthy and you need to put yourself first. If your husband doesn't like vegetables, oh well! You eat what makes you feel and look good. He's an adult and can take care of himself. Find a good caloric intake for your current weight, height, sex, age and activity level. Focus on lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Drink your water. Be active! Find your motivation. Get some fitness magazines, go the library and get out books on nutrition or diet plans. Google articles online. Make a small home gym where you can workout with a dvd. Put on some music and go for walks. Whatever it takes. Make a commitment to yourself and your health. Losing weight is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes time, patience and tons of hard work. Consistency is key. Tracking your food honestly is key. Make yourself a priority.
