Christmas Eve is a week away. This year has disappeared way to fast. For me I'm looking forward to a better 2018, this year has been frustrating. I plan to make more time to enjoy it instead of feeling trapped and behind on everything.

This Winter and Spring will be catching up on unfinished projects so I can play more. I also need to get back to regular exercise and planning meals so I'm eating well again. These bouts of bronchitis and after affects have really sidetracked me. It's not good for my overall health.

Back to daily tracking and checking in here as it makes me accountable to myself. I'm tired of not feeling good and spending time in a chair rather than being active and accomplishing things. I miss my worn out fitbit. I'll need to remedy that in the near future.

Sounds like your Christmas gift to yourself will be a fitbit and those eggs should come in handy to get you out of the chair! LOL🙋🏻‍♀️ Try to feel better, Hon!

LOL about the eggs. 2 of the 3 hens are acting like they are getting closer to laying. Actually my oldest DD says she has an extra fitbit I can just have as they don't use it. Will have to remind her and see if the offer still stands. Not a bad day today, much better than yesterday's migraine and asthma that interrupted my plans. Just dang busy at work overtime and worked through lunch. Came home and made a hazelnut pumpkin pie to take to a team food day, 2 pumpkins pureed and the kitchen is cleaned up. Time to stop. Later.

My niece says to make sure the chickens have plenty of calcium in their diets or you won’t believe what the shells look like. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m not sure I want to know? City girl here. Eggs come from grocery stores, right? LOL 😆 The one time I gathered them at a friend’s ranch they were gross and then his ducks pecked the crap out of my hands and ankles... too bad we ate rabbit and beef that weekend! 💁🏻‍♀️I was feeling bloodthirsty about those frippen ducks! Don’t work too hard if you can help it, get some rest in there!

I wish you all the best for your good health in 2018. Try not to take on any more projects until your current ones are complete. You'll feel much better for it.

smprowell, once they are about to lay or I have one egg I'll add calcium that they can access. If you give it to them too soon it causes developmental problems. I will switch to layer feed which has calcium in it but not until rooster is off to his new home. Steven is hoping he can take him this weekend or next. I'll miss him he is so cool. Doobrie, the plan is to finish projects before I start anymore. Have to find out what is causing this neck pain and headaches--waiting on ultra sound results--I'm tired of it stopping me this last 3 months. Hey Glen a new fun year to all of us!!!
