I have been smoke free for 28 days, and my food intake has increased. I am also taking Seroquel, which is a med notorious for causing weight gain. However, I absolutely NEED to be on it. I am currently living off food donations from food banks now that I am working few hours as a sub preschool teacher. My goal is to eventually transition to a plant based diet and vegan lifestyle. Mainly for the animals, but also to feel better. I have quit coffee, and my anxiety has decreased dramatically and so has my acid reflux. I have been drinking more water and making sure to eat at least 1 apple a day, or some kind of fruit/veg, which in the past I only ate processed crap.
230.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 110.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 1.9 lb a week

Congratulations on the smoking, however seems like u replaced one bad habit for another...I think ur thing might be mental...like maybe you need to talk to a professional to see the root cause of the addictions. I couldn’t have lost weight if it was not for coffee I drink 1-2 cups a day (it blunts my hunger). If u can manage to eat with a calorie deficit you can do this! It’s extremely hard, but it’s extremely worth it.
