KiarraClark's Journal, 12 December 2017

I did somewhat okay today, I was a little over 500 calories today. 522 to be exact. But I kept my carbs lower so that’s good. I did abs this evening and now I will rest. I am nervous about tomorrow, my division has a luncheon and I don’t want to be rude. I know it will be swarming with calories and carbs and fats. Perhaps I will slip away into the shadows

funny how we feel like it is polite to eat. I don't know how to get around it, I hear you. Good luck!

It’s just as polite to move a little food around on your plate and drink LOTS of coffee, tea or water! As long as you look like you are participating you don’t look rude and don’t have spinach in your teeth!🤷🏻‍♀️

Carbs don’t make one fat, eating too many calories makes one fat

You’re Navy too? I transferred from the USS Ronald Reagan and am waiting orders to another ship. I understand what you mean.

If you have the strength to be on a 500 calorie diet per day... don't under-sell your ability to persevere in a social setting - be strong, you're (obviously) capable of being a highly disciplined victor! (Oh, and Marquis... Go ARMY, All the Way!)
