FAILING MYSELF..good sunday morning..cant seem to stick with lchf anymore..thinking if i eat differently for a month or so..long as i watch my weight..things will work out..im really just getting tired of eating same ole stuff all the time..and some of that is its cold outside an i feel confined to stay inside..hard for me to put in words..sun is shinning today an its only 45 an i want to ride outside so bad with sun shinning..an at same time i know how cold 45 is on the bike..regardless of how many layers you wear..its still a cold ride..

took off yesterday..an might be another day off if i dont find the motivation to get on the bike today either on zwift, or layer up an suck it up to the cold weather..

just finding it really hard to keep on lchf for the time being..bout some great value fish today at walmart..fixed that an added it to my salad..a differnt taste for a change..guess im trying to have my cake an eat it to..

HAVE AGREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT SUNDAY..

Go to the internet, not fat secret put in your height, weight, sex male or female, I did the same for a female with not the best exercise record., mine is 1275 calories a day. I am going to guess looking at your profile yours is,1700 calories a day and then that will drop as you lose the, weight. Do not get too caught up I itially in the multiple diets, get the weight down then figure out a plan you can stick too. Keep in mind , I know I have not always follow my own advice, but it does work once I do.

Pinterest has been invaluable to me on LCHF. SO many ideas that make it less boring.

Pinterest and Instagram have been pretty awesome for finding food ideas, new keto products to try. But definitely switching things up helps. Getting bored of food would be a major let down and food should be enjoyed (in moderation). So I encourage you to search Pinterest or a keto recipe book before giving up. It looks like you’ve already come so far.

I’m the same way, so I totally understand you. I’ve found some new recipes that I’m prepping today. You got this, just find something to switch up. I hate cold weather and haven’t had energy to workout much. Try lowcarbyum.com, paleonewbie.com, stepawayfromthecarbs.com for some things to try. Best wishes

I completely understand. I have joint issues so exercise helps with stiffness but makes the pain worse so it's hard to get motivated. I ordered a dance video to do inside so I can pick out what I can do that doesn't cause more pain but still get me moving. I've found that & fun music are also mood lifters! Try dancing as crazy as want and just have fun. When it's cold out, that's a good time to check out new recipes. I've tried new things like roasted fennel & tomatoes. Yum! I've always hated brussel sprouts but found a honey balsamic recipe that, with a few tweeks, is to die for! Best of luck. I completely understand and I appreciate your sharing. While I hate getting healthier can be so, so hard; it helps to know others have difficult days and struggles too.

* mal321 ...... lol....I have definitely found precipices on pinterest! I found a low carb cookbook there that when I went through it...... not one recipe under 25g of carbs per serving ...... sugar in almost every recipe .... and low fat products recommended throughout......Glad I like to research stuff before buying. I have found some awesome tasting recipes there!!

I have so had times like that.... not so much this time around but food starts to lose its appeal when it is the same thing over and over. I couldn't eat taco meat for awhile because that was one of my fall back foods ...... just the thought made me nauseous. Fasting has helped with that this time. I just don't eat when I feel that way -

I agree with Maine Coon - just count calories for a while and see how you feel. Maybe you'd like to do full Keto again in the New Year. Have a good week Mike!

Just played in a tennis tournament over the weekend and was pretty good until today. Splurged on a couple beers and shared an awesome pizza with my wife. Got to reward yourself to keep a balance. Just jump right back to Keto come tomorrow. Never let one cheat meal derail you.

Yup.. agree with all the other fs friends ..mix it up a bit to stop the boredom and keep your motivation. You're doing great 👍👍

Sometimes ya gotta take a break. Mix it up for a while. The internet has amazing Keto recipes that amaze me and I've taken advantage of that. Sometimes we allow ourselves to drop back into mediocrity and then it all gets boring. I've done that before, so I speak from experience. Good luck and you will do fine with whatever you decide.
