Feeling better this morning, but felt like crap all day yesterday. I didn't care about eating healthy by the time I got home. My husband made meatloaf for dinner, 1 of the 4 meals on this planet I positively can't swallow because they make me GAG, so I was left to my own devices for dinner. I ended up eating a frozen chicken sandwich, along with candy and chips. I did a mini binge last night. While I did eat a ton of crap, my RDI has looked worse after a binge, so actually... I'm proud of myself for this binge. My "binges", while I recognize they shouldn't be happening at all, they are becoming less severe. THIS IS PROGRESS!!! At least I'm determined to look at it from that perspective instead of looking at it from the point of view I usually do, which is that I'm fat, will always be fat, what's the point of trying.
I've been living off of junk food for the past 10 years. I have to recognize that it's going to take awhile to alter my eating behavior and the change isn't going to happen overnight, or even within a few months, so my weight loss journey will most likely be a slow one. BUT, I can't let this be an excuse to continue binging on a bad day, nor can I used this as an excuse to throw in the towel. To quote the lovely Gladys Knight, You just gotta make the best of a bad situation and keep on keepin on!

Love your journal entry. Slow weight loss is the best, its STAYS of and thats what we are striving for! Hang in there and way to go on the MINI binge. You actually controlled it and that is incredibly difficult. I know.
