When I started back tracking everything & all this 3 weeks ago I also started running. Every time I would run I'd have to stop not because I was tired but because I couldn't breathe or catch my breath. I'd literally be gasping for air so I called my doctor & she changed my preventative asthma inhaler & that helped the next time I ran but the time after that I was back to not being able to breathe. Yesterday completely out of boredom I googled 'can't breathe when I run' & it was unreal to me to see all the people that have this issue. They had a lot of helpful breathing techniques & ideas that genuinely do help with it. If you have this issue Google it...it will help.

I had this issue previously too - I had so much trouble running (jogging?) a mile. My doctor told me I had asthma and prescribed an inhaler and everything. Little did I know that when I lost weight, my 'asthma' went away and then a couple years later I was running 4-5 miles at a time! I know everyone is different and that some asthma is a legitimate airway issue, but there is hope out there that it gets easier :)
