For the last 3 weeks I have been going over my macros:

10/23 to 11/05/17 averaged 166.8322735 f 288.5768393 c 237.3992971 protein 3605.395007 calories per day.

11/06 to 11/12/17 averaged 119.8397655 f 246.8994914 c 177.2091003
protein 2774.992256 calories.

For the 3 weeks, that gives an average of 151.1681042 f 274.68439 c 217.3358982 protein 3328.59409 calories per day.

Despite overeating for those 3 weeks, I managed to lose 3 pounds during that time frame. I'm not sure why -- maybe I overestimated the values of some of the food I ate in restaurants. I did some exercise, but not that much.

In any case, I'm not going to take this as a carte blanche to eat whatever I want going forward. A long period of dietary restriction is coming up in the Greek fast I practice: https://www.antiochianladiocese.org/fasting.html. Starting Wednesday, only invertebrates from the sea, no meat or dairy, and fish only on weekends for a few weeks. I'm going to make an exception for Thanksgiving, but otherwise stick to the Greek fast.

An instance of me keeping the letter of violating the spirit/purpose of the fast (i.e., intermittent protein deprivation, with its putative attendant health benefits) is the purchase of some pea protein powder. I intend to combine it with small amounts of rice, shrimp, and various forms of fermented soy protein (like natto and tempeh) to keep my protein intake up during the Greek fast. I've enjoyed some success training with free weights, and I am going to get in two more four week cycles before New Year.
209.8 lb Lost so far: 121.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
