I weighted in today and I was 190. I am down 5 lbs. I hope to keep up the weight loss. The first two weeks of SB diet have been very hard with family being around and our celebrating christmas, but only one week to go.
190.0 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 45.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

you're doing great, 5 lbs gone! Thats like you had a 5 lb bag of potatoes you were carrying around everywhere you went and you finally got to put them down and leave them behind! AWESOME JOB! (amazing how I still compare everything to food, aint it?!) The holidays are the toughest on everyone. Being down 5 lbs is GREAT! It's worth it to stick to it the first 2 weeks, then don't be afraid to move to phase 2. phase 2 is easier and will help continue the weight loss.

I give u credit for starting south beach at the holidays. I think it is a program we can stick with for life. I just started it myself. keep going

It is indeed a plan for life and is very manageable. I do not feel like I am dieting. I eat more "volume" than I used to, just healthier choices and I am losing weight I never thought would come off. You're doing great, keep up the fantastic work!
