Thursday...no rain this morning = no pool = 5 mile run instead! I would way rather be outside than inside...that's my story & I am sticking to it!

It's 3:00 all ready, I spent too much time looking for recipes for what to do with the Jicama a bought yesterday. Still a little undecided...ugly looking thing it is.

Anyway, today's darn near over with & I got to get back to work!!

Jicamas are only pretty to their mothers! LOL! I liked the things and used to put them into the leftover fat from cooking beef....then they would go into l/c tortillas to add extra filling to whatever else there was. Unfortunately, my grocery store stopped carrying them!

have no idea what the heck a jicama is but reading Sandy's description I don't think I want to...LOL..love to be out side too..later girl friend...:O)

i love jicama. i just eat it raw cut up like carrot sticks. or put it ina salad.
