I am not discouraged by the gain, as I had been eating fairly freely the last two weeks, actually glad it's only 2lbs.
I am 46 and recently have skipped 2 of my periods, so I assume I'm starting down the path to the change of life (2 neg pregnancy tests) and I've noticed it's actually affected my cravings greatly. I no longer have cravings for salt or chocolate nor beef which was normal. Also have noticed my appetite has decreased quite a bit. I haven't felt hungry except in the mornings. I intend to take full advantage of this to lower my food intake to only when I feel hungry, instead of eating because it's lunch/dinner. We shall see how this works.
