reduced running from 8km to 4km because of pain in left knee ligament and sore on the left shin bone. It has become better after applying VOLTAREN and running on alt days...though weight increased to 75kg last week ...i have reduced my carbo and eaten more fruits and salad.If pain comes back its time to tell the doctor about the pain.
160.9 lb Lost so far: 19.8 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good to back off due to pain. Curios, how long have you been running and what made you take you running?

Stopped running 3 years ago due to hyperthyroid ,before that have been walking on and off but earlier this year had pain in my right abdomen went to see specialist and the professor diagnose that I had fatty liver .Professor advised need to go on no carbo diet to drop weight from 85kg to 74kg and also started running from February . I have managed to reduce weight and all my chronic illness have improved too and i am off my hyperthyroid medication,my blood sugar improved and medication reduced .Hope to continue this lifestyle. I am happy that fat secret gave me a platform to monitor my progress and draw ideas and inspiration from others.Cheers fellow members.
