Still dealing with Ernie's health issues. Regret not blogging for so long. I've been loyal to food intake and logging it. My life the last few months has been crazy. O have needed to be more robotic than human. If i stop to think and feel, i know I'll fall apart. I spent a few weeks staying in hosp with Ern and only coming home for an hour to feed dogs. Then he went to skilled nursing and I was VISITING him there.then they SENT him home. The next day he fell outside the dialysis center, hitting his head so they made him stay down and called 911. Another ER visit. This was our 4th, I believe. The average visit was 7 hrs. Then on the 16th the VISITING NURSE, decided he wasn't getting circulation to his toes and order us to ER, Stat! Apparently "stat" to us means something,different to the ER. Nurse left and we got ourselves out of here by 9:00. At 5:30 We were still sitting in the waiting room. When we were finally seen, Dr decided Ern would probably lose at least one toe but because of insurance they couldn't do MRI there and told him to make appointment with his pcp within two days. So the wound specialist nurse's "stat" has now turned into three days and the likelihood of losing toes. I'm a little angry like, boiling water is a little warm. There is more about this wonderful doctor's incompetence, like ordering insulin over a week ago but the pharmacy can't dispense because they can't get Dr to tell them dosages. If I still ate because of frustration and anger, I'd be in lots of trouble, and recently, I've really wanted to pig out. I haven't lowered my weight significantly, but I haven't really gained. Vasalating between 116.1 and 117 kg, I'm almost back to the 116.1. Hoping to be in the 115s next week. Say prayers for us and wish me luck on the weight.
