Some weeks are better than others on the scale. This week started with 242. And I was mad at myself for climbing back into the 240's. These are temporary moments of frustration in my transition. Had I been weaker, I might have thrown in the towel just at that moment and gone back to bed with the devil's whispered lies of "What's the point?" "If the scale continues to climb, why try?" "You deserve a rest. You work hard. Go back to sleep. You can work out later." We have all heard the frustrated lies we tell ourselves when we fail or don't receive miracles on the scale when our efforts prior were not pristine. Understand these moments happen.
