Ophelia!

Glad she is passing through today and not tomorrow when I fly to Germany.
Haven't driven to Luton in a few years, but I guess it hasn't changed all that much and I should find it no problem. As long as I don't have to battle rain as I did on my last trip......

The illegal Eagles were a blast. Awesome group :) each and every one of them had fantastic vocals. An evening well spent.
Down side: didn't get home til past 11pm, needed to wind down for a few minutes, lights out by 12 pm but up at 6 am again. Missing out on much needed zzzzzz.

The day out in Linkenholt was really enjoyable. Weather was pleasant and there were plenty of people to catch up with as I hadn't seen them since the end of January. Got home in time for a quick shower and then out to meet the friends. The 'death by chocolate torte' I made on friday went down a storm :) They thought I should go into business with it and sell it :). I think I convinced them that you can indulge being a vegan ;)

LBs grandaughters were little stars and let me have a lie-in til 8 am .
As a treat we took a big walk through the woods, past the village shops to get a drink, and then round to the playpark. By the time we got back home, daddy was there and after a quick lunch they all went home :)

Can't say I did much for the remainder of the day apart from walking the dogs and sorting my clothes for the funeral. As I thought the black trouser suit is still just a tat too tight to be comfortable ( I bought it 3 years ago) but my dark blue suit (bought about 20 years ago ) fits like a treat :)
Guess I don't change that much.

Might have the change to fit some yoga in this afternoon. Still need to wash my hair. Won't have time tonight as we go and play skittles for the local team, and tomorrow I leave work early to go to the airport. All going well I will be back late Thursday night.

Happy Days :)

Ophelia is not due to hit us, here in Scotland, until tomorrow early doors. Not looking forward to it, living in a top floor flat, with no double glazing, that faces straight into the prevailing wind! Should be fun. Have you ever seen Talon? I have seen The Eagles twice, and Talon are every bit as good.

Keep my fingers crossed for you that Ophelia will have lost much of her force!!! Not seen Talon, but we will see MIdge Ure in November and Steeleye Span in December :)
