This is the first day of my very first ever diet. I have been overweight for about 9 years give or take after having my first child. I now have 5 children and I have two of them home with me. I went out after dropping the girls off at school and went on a walk with the boys in my new jogging stroller. We did WALK though and we walked for about 40-45 minutes. I broke a light sweet but that was all, but I do feel it in my calf's and my thighs. I ate 1 egg white fried with no oil, butter, salt or pepper and it was not so good. I LOVE butter and salt, so there is my biggest problem :). I had half a cup of milk and for lunch it was 1/2 a cup of So Cheesy Mac and Cheese and 1/2 a cup of veg all :p. It was pretty gross. For dinner I ate at a ladies praise night at a baptist church in town and had chicken fried rice and some salad with some clear dressing on it. I am guessing it was a vinaigrette dressing but it made the roof of my mouth burn. I am on a diet pill prescribed by my doctor and I am hoping to stick to a 1200-1400 cal. diet as my doctor suggested with exercising 40 minutes 5 days a week. This will be the first time I made a commitment like this so I am hoping to stick with it and to lose this extra weight.I just hope when I get off the medicine that I can keep off the weight. It would be worse to lose all the weight and then gain it back than to never lose it in the first place :/. Oh well, We will see how this goes. I am praying for fast results and a permanent change.

I am a Mum of 8 boys, and at one stage I had a double stroller, 2 lads on baby harness,s walking along side and a baby in a body harness carrier. (people stilll comment on those days to me. i never owned a car. the kids actually love walking but after a while I think a visit to park is more exciting. When there be active and push pull and swing them. Better exercise. You are doing great and stay focused

To Carmel8sons, WOW! 8 boys! Here I was thinking that bringing 4 along on a walk was hard, I couldn't imagine bringing 4 MORE to top it off :)! How amazing! Thanks for the advice and perspective :). We do the park about 3 times a week with my 2 boys and 2 girls. They LOVE it! Thanks for the comment :).
