WHOOP!!! I've hit 2ville for the first time in MANY years! I honestly feel like this has worked for me thus far due to the support of some folks on here. Lots of motivation has come from seeing other's successes, and a LOT of coaching and guidance has been provided to me from my FS "family" on, and off of, the journal entries. One thing I will say to anyone that is new to the site, or needs to help themselves to be a bit more disciplined, is the same thing Ches told me when I first arrived, DOCUMENT and LOG everything that goes into your mouth! It's easy to lie to others about your eating habits, but it's HARD to lie to yourself by not entering into your food calendar what you know you've eaten. When I weighed in this morning and let out a triumphant WHOOP (I'm an Aggie, we do that), the bride asked what was up. When I told her, she grinned and giggled and told me that since I had hit a milestone in my journey that I needed to splurge a bit today at lunch... So I did! I had some carrots! LOL Not gonna jinx my game now, I'm gonna keep plugging away! Thanks again to ALL that I follow, those that follow me, and everyone else that has had words of support and provided criticism when required!

I've been bouncing off the walls today at work! The way I'm smiling, people are probably wondering what I did last night! LOL Ches, I just used that quote as my signature line on an e-mail! I love it. 184, I'm sure glad you left the gate open for me!

Silvey67, I follow a Low Carb High Fat WOE that I worked out with my Dr. One of the things he also asked me to do was the 16/8 fast. That means I have 8 hours a day to eat all of my meals, and then I fast for 16 hours. So, I can eat from 11:00 am each day until 7:00 PM each night. I've never been much of a breakfast eater, so this works out really well for me. Fat bombs are a great snack for me since they are loaded with fat! The good kind of fat though. They also provide a "sweet" fix for me. I use equal parts unsweetened almond butter, coconut oil, and cacao powder. Heat them up, pour 1 TBS into TINY cupcake cups, refrigerate and enjoy after they have solidified. I believe they are around 1.5g of carbs each, but they are LASTING from a hunger satisfaction standpoint. Let me know if I can be of assistance, I'm a believer in this WOE and will probably practice it from now on. It's easy once you get started.

Congrats! That looks great!!! Ha, yesterday I "splurged" and had carrots too! It's funny how 1.5 months ago carrots were towards the top of my healthy eating habits!!
