Baileyrose85's Journal, 02 April 2012

I WAS HORRIBLE THIS WEEKEND! I don't think I ate one single meal at home, we were meeting with friends and eating out and drinking all weekend. So this week, it is back on track in a major way!

Friday night I had a great, long conversation with my fiance. That was what contributed to my horrific alcohol/calorie consumption, but it was worth it in my eyes. He's been home a week and a half now and it has been an adjustment for both of us. I don't have my after work freedom and he is bored and wants me home all the time. But no matter what we are going through now, I am confident that it will get better. The great thing about our relationship is that even though we may fight quite a bit sometimes (we're both damn stubborn), all it takes is a few beers on the patio and a good conversation and everything is all better. There were even times he mentioned going to the gym with me. Although I think it is going to be a long time before he is willing to get up with me in the mornings to go before I go to work, but I am going to look into adding him to my gym membership on the off chance I can get him to go with me on the weekends or after work. In the meantime, he is getting his exersice and sun playing dick golf and that is fine by me.

Made it to the gym fairly on time so I got my full hour in. I was really tired so I went easy on myself... I NEED TO STOP doing that! I am defintely not on track for my next goal of 10 lbs by my sister in law to be's wedding which is now only 2 weeks away, but I am confident that with some discipline I can drop at least another 5 by then. And now is the time to start mentioning using the fiance's Macy's card to buy a new dress for me and my Bug for the wedding :) Don't really have much in my closet that I could wear. I am trying to stay away from black. I want to be spring-esque and not night club-esque.

We have a break from the rain today. It's still only going to be 65 or so, but at least it won't be pouring rain. I hate it, we live at the bottom of the foothills in CA. We are just barely too far east to get snow... so it just pours. I am terribly afraid that it is going to be freezing until July... I guess if nothing else, that gives me more time to get bikini ready.

As for tonight, I am going home to spend the evening with my man and my little one. Small possibility I may throw caution to the wind and pack them in the car to head to SF for the Giant's/A's exhibition game tonight but I will probably end up calling in sick to work tomorrow if I do..... hmmmmm. If not, it will be a quiet, healthy dinner at home, some cleaning and maybe, if I can drag him outside, a nice walk. It should be a good night.

You'll get back on the wagon... We all have slips. Learn and progress forward. Fingers crossed for you and hubby--it takes time, talk, and a LOT of honesty... Good luck!

Glad, you and the boyfriend had a great convo! Weekends really ruin everything and especially when there is grocery shopping involved and you haven't ate- I tend to buy lots of JUNK! I always tend to screw my weekends up though with the alcohol- and alcohol gives me the munchies ;) I say skip work and go to the game- sounds like more FUN!

I'm sure you'll be back on track in no time. I'm glad you and your fiance had a talk, I'm sure that felt so much better. Maybe if he does work out with you it will show him how hard you work. Hope you have a good night, game or no game!

At least your hoping its a typo, maybe your giving yourself a hint??? Although I suppose either way its still exercise for him, so I guess as long as he enjoys it right? LOL, good for you with your working out though. It can be really hard to get up that early, so well done.

Hahahaha - I cut my boyfriend off months ago because of the saying "why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?" - I'm sure he's been playing some dick golf too... hahahaha - I just can't stop laughing!!!! I agree with RikuHearts - either way he still gets exercise... HA!!!!!!
