erikahollister's Journal, 01 October 2017

Well, I drifted up all summer from a momentary low in wonderland, and at one point when the scale hit 220 (yikes!) I panicked and got back on track. So while this looks terrible, it's better than it was. I guess I had better get back to tracking and journaling. I bought a fitbit and it is encouraging me to take that extra walk. Giving up is not an option, so here we go!

Erika, wouldn't it be nice if our metabolism was so that we could eat anything we want and not gain? I am thankful I put the brakes on before it got too out of hand. It is easier to lose 9 pounds than it is to lose 29 pounds. When your jeans start getting tight around the waist, don 't go looking for the jeans that fit a little looser. Stop right there and get back on your program.
