I'm really enjoying being out in the field for a change...directing the work and having direct input to the production...much more satisfying than just being in the office. Hate being away from my family though.

I'm gonna have to make sure I incorporate more field trips into my position with the company...more field tours. I miss being on the tools and having that sense of accomplishment in a day...

As for the diet...I'm doing okay...yesterday wasn't that great, but I knew I was splurging a little with my cookies and a huge steak dinner (even though the steak wasn't that great)...and exercise isn't happening in the hotel...too friggin tired after a 12hr day...but more exercise during work should make up for it.

I am stuck out here for a couple more days yet...I really hope I can stop extending my stay out of town, but we are getting pretty close to completion...should be done by Sunday noon...then home time for me and my new guy that I hired last week...he's turning out to be an excellent addition to the team!!
