So following a week of eating, it's not as bad as it could have been - and I expected worse.
Last Wednesday I spent 12 hours driving - 6 hours to Oldham, 6 hours home again. I ate reasonably carefully, but did have things as were bad for me. On Sunday we went to Tony's ex wife and her partner's for Alice's (his daughter) and Clover's (granddaughter) birthday. Karen, Becky's partner is a wonderful cook - plus I did 4 hours driving again. Other than those days I've been in bed recovering and eating whatever Tony put in front of me - burgers, eggs, veggies - kept off the chips though.
Now I'm back to the fasting. I'm 37 hours in and feeling much better for it. We're going out for lunch on Friday so I'll break my fast then - or possibly in the morning as I'll be driving (not far though this time).
Have a good week everyone and I'm sorry I've not been reading and supporting anyone over the last week.

That's a hell of a lot of driving! I'm not surprised you've been resting most of the rest of the time. Sunday sounds like it was good - great that you can all get on well enough to enjoy the occasional family get together. Take care!

Yes Poppy it was to visit my mum. She spent most of the time talking to Julia (my carer for the day) and telling her how awful it must have been to have to spend so much time with me - she says it about Tony too! Poor Tony, Poor Julia and so on. I enjoyed the driving though - and I visited my godmother for an hour and she's amazing. 90 years of age had 2 separate mastectomies, lots of allergies, spinster schoolteacher and all-round good fun person who went to school with my mum.
